Radio and 1) Using Visual Studio.NET, 2) Opening Links in New Windows, 3) Subscribing Via Email
Google Search It
Today I came across a link on the Radio Userland news page(which by the way I need to check out/subscribe to) that describes working with FrontPage and Radio. Well given my experience with Visual Studio.NET you can be sure there is little chance of me going back to Microsoft FrontPage so why do I mention this? Well, I figure that if you can change your editor to be Microsoft FrontPage you can presumably also change it to be Visual Studio.NET. Unfortunately, it wasn't as cool (or perhaps it was too easy/obvious) as I would have liked. The key information seems to start at "Integrating FrontPage files into your Radio theme". As you step through the tuturial, you discover that was is described is essentially to create the files you want in FrontPage and then copy the HTML into the Weblog editor with the "Source" view selected.
By the way, this same tutorial contains a link for allowing users to automatically open all links in a new window. Fortunately, it also had a link to instructions for how to do this. Check out "How to toggle new window linking".
You know one of the problems with this Weblog thing is that there are simply too many things that I am learning about and I can't keep up with logging them all.
One final note, I have been wanting to allow folks to subscribe to my weblog via email. I found a reference to Bloglet as a means for doing this but I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to enter for the Server text box. I posted a message with this question on the Radio Userland discussion list.
