Cool, the Cannon S40 wins the PC Magazine Editors Choice Award. It is good to have this type of validation of my purchase.
Overall I am pleased with the camera. The only issue that I have really encountered so far is that the flash is often too bright when near the subject and the result is a slightly whitewashed picture. There are ways to change the settings to avoid this but I find it a little too complicated to remember and reconfigure every time. I need to review the manual again to figure out how to do this and see if I can save the settings.
