Installing my IPAQ 3870 Google Search It Many moons ago I made the mistake of letting the battery on my IPAQ drain.  As a result I lost all my data and configuration informatin.  Today I finally got round to trying to reinstall it.  Here is journal of what I did: Installed ActiveSync 3.6 on my WindowsXP Laptop Installed the iPAQ H3xxx Bluetooth Service Manager v1.1 - SP21033.exe.  (Required for using bluetooth to my Ericsson T39m phone. Installed iPAQ Pocket PC 2002 End User Update v1.0 - SP20130.exe. (I can't remember whether I was supposed to install this update or the Blue Tooth Service Manager v1.1 above first.)
