Eclipse 2.1 Released Google Search It I have never actually used Eclipse but while training some Java developers in C# a few weeks ago I heard quite a few complaints about how Eclipse was a way better IDE (Integrated Development Environment) than Visual Studio.NET.  This surprised me as I always thought that Visual Studio.NET was generally considered the best one even by many Java developers.  The key thing that Java developers preferred, however, was the class browser in Eclipse.  Anyway, Eclipse recently released version 2.1, which, presumably, is better than the last.  6:32:59 PM   []    comment []
