Microsoft Active Directory in Application Mode Google Search It While investigating solutions implementing authorization security within an enterprise system I came accross Microsoft Active Directory in Application Mode (ADAM).  This seems like a great solution for managing users especially when integrated with Authorization Manager.  Information about signing up for the beta program can be found here. 11:35:40 AM   []    comment []

Windows XP Fast User Switching and Cisco VPN Client Google Search It I noticed recently that the Cisco VPN client install will disable the Windows XP Fast User Switching.  This thread, however, identifies a work around if you want to include the Cisco VPN and maintain the Fast User Switching feature.  Note that no matter what Fast User Switching is not available if the computer joins the domain and there doesn't appear to be any work around at the moment.  3:11:35 AM   []    comment []
