Long but well worth the read.  Great insight!  Good warnings to heed/seek out and destroy.

Never thought I would see this... Microsoft seems to have really penetrated the standards now.  I'm all for this one, however.

Sai Ganesh, one of the developers on my team was searching through what PDC sessions he was interested in attending.  He didn't like the web-like interface, however, so he plopped the session list in an XML file.  Here is how he explains it:

Open the file in Visual Studio 2003 and select Data tab. The file gets automatically loaded into a datatable and lets you sort the data. And easy way to find out what's going on when. A few abstracts and speakers are still missing though as they haven't posted it.
